I arrange a variety of guided day walks both within the Baztan-Bidasoa region covered under the self-guided walks section and in other parts of the Basque Country. These walks are geared to visitors who would like to get a taste of the landscapes and villages in the region while holidaying in, say, Donostia-San Sebastián. Included are my personal guiding services throughout and transfers to and from Donostia-San Sebastían (or other starting points on request) to trailheads. In the sections Guided Walks Gipukzoa and Guided Walks Navarra of this website can be found sample routes that are some of my personal favourites and which I consider of great interest to the visitor, but I will be gradually adding more routes to each section and extending options to cover the other Basque provinces over time. If there is a specific a area you wish to explore that is not covered by the walks described, let me know and I will also try to arrange this. Note that walking times shown are actual walking times at steady to slowish pace, not including rest/food/photo stops, for which a good estimate is to add an extra 20% to the total time given. Trailheads for all walks are within an hour by car of Donostia-San Sebastián.
New for 2016 are a series of guided short walks of up to 2h30min duration which are considerably less strenuous than the guided walks described in this section, and thus suitable for walkers/ramblers of all ages. See Guided Short Walks/Day Trips for more details.
